What is the On-line Giving Challenge?

On November 11, attorneys, their families, colleagues, firms, and friends are invited to come together for the Foundation’s Giving Challenge.

Be a Legal Hero--Give the gift of legal representation to those that gave so much to us...
OUR VETERANS

You can help!  It is the challenge goal to be able to raise at least $20,000 and fund a minimum of four grants to support The Foundation’s grant program with a special focus on veteran’s legal services projects.

The 2022 campaign raised more than $20,000 for The Foundation's grant program to assist veterans in need of legal services.  Funds generated by this campaign have helped veterans with matters related to housing, income maintenance, access to medical care, child support, and their veteran status and benefits.

“We are grateful for the service and sacrifices made by our veterans and thankful for the efforts of The New York Bar Foundation in assisting those who have given so much with their legal needs.  It is our pleasure to support such a worthy endeavor.”  Gary B. Freidman, Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP

“This funding gives us the opportunity to thank our veterans for their service by providing civil legal services to the men and women who have served our country in  the armed forces.  Without this funding, we would not have been able to initiate our Veterans Clinic Program at the Utica Office of the Central New York Veterans Outreach Center.”  Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc.
